Gluten Free in Dallas: Hopdoddy Burger Bar

image

Last night, Nick and I headed out to see “The Night Before” with Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It was really funny and definitely a good way to kick off the month of December! We grabbed an Angel from the Salvation Army on our way out of the mall. We do at least one every December. It helps remind me to be thankful for everything that I have. Before the movie, we headed to my favorite gluten free burger spot, Hopdoddy

I talked about it a couple weeks back after we went to Twisted Root. This is such a better burger. They take extra precautions when you ask for gluten free, and they make the gluten free buns themselves. They are amazing!

Cherry Limeaid

I love to start with the cherry limeade cocktail. It’s vodka, fresh lime juice, muddled cherries, and a bit of sugar. Who doesn’t love an adult limeade!

Nick and I have become obsessed with their fries and queso. Interesting combo but it works sooooo well. Their fries are Celiac safe which automatically makes my GF experience so much better, but they are also seriously amazing. Some of the best fries I have had. Dipped in their green chili queso is pretty close to heavenly. They also have really great Parmesan truffle fries!

I tend to stick with the same burger every time because it is so delicious, I afraid to try anything else! I get the Goodnight burger on a gluten free bun. The bun is light, buttery, and fluffy. The burger comes with caramelized onions and jalapenos. What’s not to like?

Most of their locations are in Texas, but they do have some in California, Arizona, and Colorado. Definitely a must to check out if you are looking for an awesome gluten free burger experience!
