Happy November Everyone!

This year is flying by. I can’t believe Halloween has come and gone. October was definitely the a month that disappeared quickly. Before diving in to holiday prep and recipes, I wanted to recap all about my Halloween traditions.

Mondays are rough. Coffee makes it so much better! I started my day with a trip to Starbucks for a 1-pump non-fat pumpkin spice latte.

Then it was off for early voting! Glad to have that done and avoid the long lines on Tuesday. I hope you all are exercising your right as well! *Had to rock some sort of “costume” to work.

At lunchtime, I stopped off at the store to get candy for all the trick-or-treaters! I didn’t want to have the bags lying around the house tempting me all week, so picking it all up the day of was perfect!

After dropping the candy off at home, the pup and I ventured out for a nice lunch-time walk. I love that I live close enough to my job that I’m able to do come home and take a walk and lunchtime. It’s a nice mental break, and it allows Peanut to get outside for a little while. The leaves are just starting to change here and it’s so pretty!

I love decorating the house for fall and that I can leave my pumpkins up until Thanksgiving.

This battery-operated lantern has a timer so you can set it to come on a dark every day. Love it! The leaves are from Michaels.

For dinner I made my homemade chicken enchiladas. This has somehow become a tradition to make every Halloween. They are not super healthy, but a fun treat for a holiday.

And you can’t officially say that Halloween happened without watching Hocus Pocus!

Hoping your Halloween was full of treats and not tricks!
