Hello Blog? It’s Me, Ashley.

Three months ago. That was the last time I blogged. Before that, 2017 blogging was sporadic at best. It was a rough year of change for me. I quit my job, started a new one, moved to a new city, lost my grandmother, and struggled to find routine. But it was also a year filled with love and encouragement. I spent quality time with family and friends, went on a few fun vacations, I made new friendships, and I proved to myself that I am capable of so much.

I am hopeful that 2018 will be a year of self-love and care, of healthy living, of stressing less and enjoying the moment, and of renewing my passion for blogging. Here’s a look back on highlights from 2017.

Tone It Up fitness challenges! These have been a constant for me through all the change this past year. I have met so many amazing and supportive women through this community, and I am so excited to continue my fitness journey with them this year.

Speaking of Tone It Up…. In September I got the chance to meet these two amazing trainers, make new friends, and drink all the rose. What could be better!

I celebrated my baby brother at his wedding!

I was lucky enough to spend time in three of my favorite places (with some of my favorite people): Florida, Vegas, and Colorado. The mountains, the beach, fancy pools… what more could a girl ask for?!?

I celebrated the life of my beautiful grandmother, who at 92, had seen so much in her lifetime.

I was blessed to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my family and Nick’s together. Gluten free pumpkin pie!!

And I celebrated Christmas with those I love. Peanut thoroughly enjoyed helping us open gifts!

No sweeping New Year’s resolutions for me this year, just a goal to appreciate all I have, and each moment I’ve been given. Wishing you a healthy, happy start to a new year!

Cheers!

Ashley
